Connecting the Windows Desktop Sync Client
Uploading large raw-to-JPEG catalogs through a web browser can be slow and prone to interruption. The Windows Desktop Sync Client runs in the background and syncs directories directly to the cloud. Here is how to link it:
Step 1: Download & Install the Client
Visit the Downloads Hub page and click Download for Windows (.exe). Run the installer and launch the app on your PC.
Step 2: Generate API Sync Token
Log in to the Web Portal. Navigate to Settings > API Keys & Tokens. Click on **"Generate Sync Token"**, copy the string, and keep it safe.
Step 3: Authenticate the Sync Client
Open the desktop client app on your computer. Paste the copied API Sync Key into the authorization field and click Link Account. Your studio name will instantly show up as active.
Step 4: Select Local Folder & Begin Syncing
Drag event folders from your local disk and drop them into the app window, or set up a "Watch Folder" (automatic watch directory). The sync engine will automatically process raw files, compress them if required, and sync them directly to your client portal in real time!
